Martin Garrix announces split from long-term girlfriend

Martin Garrix might be on top of the electronic dance music world, but his love life has sadly come crashing down with the news that he has split from long-term girlfriend Charelle with immediate effect. The two, who were often spotted together during an intense and loving relationship, have decided to call things off in the name of love, according to Garrix, who said that they’ve decided to go their separate ways as “love means wanting the best for the person you love.”

It’s been an eventful few months for the STMPD boss, who recently lost his crown as the number #1 DJ in the world to Belgian duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike in the announcement of the DJ Mag Top 100 results for 2019. Despite this, Monsieur Garrix has enjoyed another huge year on the touring front, and has dropped a number of massive releases this year, including ‘Mistaken’, and Macklemore collab ‘Summer Days’.
