R3HAB & ZAYN & Jungleboi – Flames
What is the recipe for a brand new jam that is set to take over not only the radio top lists but also the dance charts all around the world? Well, R3HAB could answer that question in connection to his new track, called “Flames” as he joins talent with award-winning pop artist, Zayn Malik, and UK-based producer, Jungleboi.
In recent years the popularity of commercial music in the dance genre is showing an increasing tendency. This certainly benefits producers and DJs, whose aim is to release radio hits while still keeping them ‘festival-friendly’ by finding the perfect harmony between dance and pop music. One of the leading figures of this trend is the Moroccan/Dutch producer Fadil El Ghoul, better known as R3HAB, who seems to be unstoppable when it comes to releasing quality content – let it be remixes or something completely new, including wide-reaching collaborations with accomplished artists from different genres. This time, the second has happened, as pop icon, ZAYN decided to take part in the making of “Flames”, that R3HAB and Jungleboi have been working on since the day they met back in 2017. After two years, the finished product has finally arrived released through R3HAB’s imprint CYB3RPVNK, and it was definitely worth the wait because it cannot get any better.
“I was working on the “Flames” song for quite some time together with Jungleboi when we got the call from ZAYN. The result is absolutely epic. I couldn’t be more proud of the result and look forward to sharing this amazing tune with the world.” – R3HAB
R3HAB, who was ranked as the nr. 14 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list in 2019, shared the official artwork on his socials, taking the opportunity to show his appreciation to his colleagues on this phenomenal collaboration:
The song is based on a wonderful piano melody, accompanied by the elements of the EDM world, adding an edge with the signature bassline following the tune. But what takes the track to a sky-high level is the sensual vocals and soulful lyrics delivered by the former One Direction member, to make sure we can feel the rhythm even in our bones.
