Halloween is that time of the year where scary and intimidating things happen. In the electronic music scene, one of the mightiest creatures of the night Joel Zimmerman best known as Deadmau5 showed up to transformed himself into his darkest alter ego; Testpilot.

Testpilot is the Techno and underground side of the Canadian star. On this very special festivity, the artist took over the decks of the legendary California-based and Insomniac owned festival Escape: Pyscho Circus 2019 to present a majestic Techno repertoire including tracks, edits, remixes and mashups that absolutely blew the minds of the attendants away. Adapting an obscure and gloomy sound, the ultimate troll delivered exactly what the anti commercial music lovers wanted to listen.

Even though, some of them were left disapointed after the rumours pointing towards a possible B2B between Testpilot and Eric Prydz Techno alias Cirez D, this set was at the same level and completely lived up to the expectations. The lucky attendants that stayed till the end and experience the whole session experienced something that rarely happens as Joel doesn’t perform as Testpilot very frequently. In the end, it couldn’t have been a better way to finish the second and final day of this iconic festival and close down the Factory 93 stage at Sewer District area.

Regarding the Mau5trap owner, as always, he didn’t go unnoticed and it was not exactly for his unique set. He provided one of the highlights of the festival when he joined the one and only Dillon Francis on stage to dance to ‘Dancing Queen’ leaving a pretty funny moment that provoked laughters of the whole crowd.

It doesn’t matter the reason, Joel Zimmerman will always brings unforgettable moments that will get stuck in our memories. In this case, it is the Techno fans that will surely remember this one. Relive the unreal Testpilot set at Escape 2019 below:
