Two new deadmau5 tracks are coming

Home Uncategorized Two new deadmau5 tracks are coming

Recently, we reported on news stating that a new deadmau5 track was set for an official release, and it happened to be the ‘SATRN’ ID that was long awaited by fans. It had been played out for a while, and with it was another ID that was usually played after in his sets named ‘Coasted’. When ‘SATRN’ came out, the fans speculated that it wouldn’t be a long wait until ‘Coasted’ comes out – and they were right.

Set for another Friday release, ‘Coasted’ is the next in the new chain of singles to come from the Canadian producer. This has been another long awaited ID, and it sounds truly beautiful and gives us an idea of which direction deadmau5 is taking his music in. Being played on tour for a while now, it was also included in his latest BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.

This isn’t all though. In fact, there’s yet another ID set to release the week after ‘Coasted’. This one titled ‘Fall’, interestingly enough, was originally known as a Testpilot (his techno alias) track until recent discoveries have found that this is the third installment in the series of new deadmau5 singles. This could mean that he is somewhat bridging the worlds of his two monikers, especially since it was played in the Testpilot half of his Essential Mix.

Eagle-eyed fans on Reddit discovered that the tracks were coming with a little detective work. One user said that if you click the URL tweeted when ‘SATRN’ came out and replace ‘SATRN’ with ‘Coasted’, it gives you the pre-save link for the track and same goes for ‘Fall‘.

As we can see from the images below, the cover art follows the same theme which can hopefully hint towards an album release in the near future with all these tracks and more on the tracklist.
