Avicii and Nicky Romero. These 2 names when heard together, can easily send invigorating shivers down the spine to almost everyone on this planet. Though this combination is no longer possible due to the unfortunate demise of Avicii, their legendary tune ‘I Could Be The One‘ is still here with mankind. Any list of best EDM songs of the decade shall be incomplete if it doesn’t include this tune.
The tune released back in 2012 crossed 200 million plays on Spotify at the start of 2019. Pete Tong premiered the tune for the first time during his residency on BBC Radio 1. Soon enough the tune went viral and flooded the dance community. The song became an essential part of DJ sets all across the globe. The track finally was released during Christmas 2012 with a staggering official video which has gathered more than 300 million views to date. A tribute concert in honour of Avicii, who sadly passed away last year in Muscat, Oman, was recently organized. Nicky Romero was also one of the breathtaking names who played on the momentous occasion.
Widely regarded as one of the ultimate EDM anthems of all time, to this very day, ‘I Could Be The One’ celebrates its 7th birthday today sadly without one of its parents, Tim Bergling. Nicky Romero dropped the legendary tune at the Avicii Tribute Concert. Check it out down below!
