Home Uncategorized CamelPhat announced as Steel Yard headliners for Creamfields 2020

The Steel Yard structure is an integral part of the iconic Creamfields festival. Arguably its most popular stage (aside from the two outdoor mainstages), it travels to London and Liverpool for two weekends of the year for Steel Yard weekenders and has hosted the likes of Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Martin Garrix, and way more. At the actual festival, it has played host to some of the industry greats, such as Carl Cox, deadmau5, Eric Prydz and more within those genres. Prydz is a regular to the stage, showcasing his groundbreaking HOLO production designs. To kick off the 2020 Steel Yard festival announcements, massively popular house duo CamelPhat have been announced as the first headliners for the iconic stage during the 2020 edition of Creamfields.

Mike Di Scala and Dave Whelan (CamelPhat) have played on this stage in previous years, but not as headliners and in less than a few years they have come a long way to now be at the top of the bill amongst the greats that regularly headline this structure. The Liverpool duo have quickly become a staple act at Creamfields, with the festival crowd packing out the stage to see them play so close to their hometown, and Creamfields always gives them a huge reception. This announcement has gone down a treat with the attendees so far, and you can have no doubts that they will smash their performance!

Their performance at this years edition of Creamfields went down a treat when they headlined the Generator stage on the Sunday, and even though they went against Swedish House Mafia and Tiësto their crowd was jam-packed which proves they are an iconic act and a force to be reckoned with. The CamelPhat announcement sees the duo join previously announced acts for Creamfields 2020 so far, which are Armin van Buuren and Pendulum. It’s already shaping up to be a massive edition!
