David Guetta classic ‘Just A Little More Love’ turns 16 years old
French maestro David Guetta is perhaps the most important figure in the rise of EDM. Having started his career with a more underground flavour, spinning vinyl on the terrace of Ibiza superclub Space, Guetta soon flipped his career into a more commercial success as ‘the teenies‘ approached, collaborating with stars like Akon, Kelly Rowland, Nicki Minaj, Flo Rida, and Usher to bring us timeless anthems which helped catapult dance music onto daytime radio and bring this world to a wider mass audience.
One of the biggest anthems to propel David Guetta into the spotlight early on was ‘Just A Little More Love’, which was released on this day in 2003 via Ministry of Sound. Now turning 16 years old, the track still sounds as fresh as ever and has cemented a place as a truly timeless classic, accompanying the Guetta album of the same name.
With the Frenchman’s career coming full circle in recent times, as he once again adopts a darker and more underground tone to his new deeper tech-house and techno style tracks, Guetta even re-released this record under his Jack Back alias recently, giving the original a slick reworking for the club floors.
