December is here, which means the start of festival announcements for the 2020 season. Getting the hype in early is something important to some festivals, and Parookaville is one of them. Taking place annually since 2015, it has grown to a size of epic proportions and is arguably one of the most popular European festivals around today. 2019 saw the visitor count raise to a massive 210,000 across three days, so it’s no wonder why it is named Germany’s largest electronic music festival with multiple stages featuring all different kinds of electronic genres. Still enjoying the success of their spectacular 2019 edition, they are looking ahead to 2020 and are inspired to make this their biggest edition yet and the first names from their next lineup prove this.

Introducing their next edition, the first DJs to be announced are massive duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Riding high on the success of their top spot placement of this year’s DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll, this will be their third appearance following their popular 2019 and 2015 sets that have wowed crowds. They will make the mainstage theirs, and are working on special things for their set.

Next up is the king of trance himself, Armin van Buuren. Taking to the ‘City of Dreams’, he is a crowd-pleaser and always gives his fans what they want and more through his spectacular and mindblowing performances. Marking this as his fifth appearance, he is a Parookaville regular.

Dancing extraordinaire Salvatore Ganacci proved a popular hit with the festival – so popular in fact that he’s back for another round! His fun attitude paired with his energetic selection of tracks makes him one of the most in demand acts around right now, and will be sure to pack out the stage for his set as he dances all around the stage. Other highlights include Neelix, Cosmic Gate, Rezz, Markus Schulz, Yves V, Lari Luke and Parookaville residents Lost Identity will also bring their a game to the festival across all the stages.

Parookaville 2020 will take place 17-19 July and will feature over 300 artists in total across the three days. For more information, visit their website here.
