Tiësto – Blue (feat. Stevie Appleton)

Teaming up with British singer/songwriter Stevie Appleton, Tiësto has just released their new laid-back single “Blue” on Musical Freedom.

The Dutchman has set his sights on recovering from a busy summer and autumn schedule, with some studio time proving rather fruitful for him, after the recent releases of fan-favourite “God is Dancer” and the latin-inspired anthem “Acordeão” with Moska.

“Blue” sees Tiësto strip back his iconic sound with a simplistic pop masterpiece, focusing in on an infectious guitar melody, driving the track through from start to finish. Yet again the Grammy award winner has demonstrated how versatile he can be when it comes to genre experimentation and production, crafting a delightful, mellifluous platform upon which Appleton’s vocal talents shine through too.

The 50-year-old’s 13th release of 2019 is sure to attract masses of attention and support from other big names and radio DJ’s as the month progresses. As one of the biggest names in the industry for over 20 years, Tiësto continues to defy expectations and is more than ready to continue his current form into the new decade. He continues to work with the finest talents around having produced with the likes of Jonas Blue, Rita Ora, Mabel and John Christian this year alone. It begs the question as to what collaborations he has planned beyond 2020…
