In review of a hectic 2019, 1001tracklists have revealed the 10 most heard tracks from last year in their “A State Of Dance Music” report. The top 10 covers a variety of sub-genres, making for interesting reading, however, some of the names on the list will not come as a surprise. The “Most Heard Tracks Of 2019” are based off of the tracks that were most individually listened to by users on the playlist database.

At number 10, and surprisingly not higher up the order, we have Meduza’s infectious anthem  “Piece of Your Heart”, which became a mainstay of many a mashup and DJ set over the 2019 season. Trumping that arrives the piano-driven “Feelin” Good” from Frenchman Laurent Garner and Chambray.

“Never Be Alone” tested new waters at number 8 as David Guetta and MORTEN continue to explore their new, refreshing sound. Heavier tracks land and places 7 and 6, with Skrillex and Boys Noize teaming up under their Dog Blood alias with “Turn Off The Lights” before DJ Snake and Eptic grab the 6th place with their dubstep thriller “Southside”.

The huge Monolink track “Return To Oz” received an uplifting remix, with the Ukrainian duo ARTBAT coming in as the 5th most heard track of 2019, just after “XTC” from Solardo & Eli Brown in 4th.

The top 3 all fall under the Tech House category; KC Lights picks up the number 3 slot with the massive Toolroom Records release “SOL” which received massive support from acclaimed names such as MK, Kryder and Mark Knight alike. Pulling off a huge feat, the top 2 places are occupied by the same man; needing no guesses as to whom. FISHER appears triumphant with the irresistible “Losing it” (2nd) and “You Little Beauty” (1st) topping the bunch respectively.
