Awakenings Festival 2019

Awakenings Festival announces huge lineup for 20th anniversary

The world’s largest outdoor techno festival, Awakenings Festival, is returning in 2020, and for its 20th anniversary the festival has certainly not held back. The Awakenings Festival lineup features over 100 techno pioneers, international headliners, and upcoming talent, it is sure to make any techno enthusiast a little excited, to say the least.

The lineup was announced by Reinier Zonneveld as he performed a live set on a boat, whilst floating through the Amsterdam canals. Featuring the likes of Jeff Mills, Derrick May, Carl Cox, Kevin Saunderson, and Adam Beyer, just to name a few, the festival is not short of the heavyweights in the industry. Awakenings also makes the point of focusing on up and coming talent in the techno scene, which is great to see. Artists such as VTTSONYVAA, Chris Stussy, and Kevin de Vries set to perform during the festival. adam beyer

If the two day festival wasn’t enough, Awakenings is hosting three nights and one full day (totalling 60 hours of pure techno) during Awakenings Easter in Gashouder, Holland which will certainly satisfy the techno enthusiasts out there, and get you in the mood for the anniversary festival later in the year.

The festival, known not only as one of the premier techno festivals, but also for their innovative stage and production design, ensures it will be a spectacle not to be missed, that is if you were lucky enough to get tickets, as they have now unfortunately sold out. If you are still in need of a techno fix, tickets for the Awakenings Easter festival can be purchased here or for more information on Awakenings Festival itself, click here.
