Axwell classic remix of ‘In My Mind’ turns 8 years old

Unlock the great pantheon of EDM classics and the same anthems will always jump out at you. ‘Levels’ by Avicii, ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ by the Swedish House Mafia, ‘If I Lose Myself’ by Alesso, ‘Reload‘ by Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash, and so on… Certainly befitting of a place in such lists is the Axwell remix of ‘In My Mind’ which was also released during those golden era years of EDM, on this day in 2012 to be exact.

Turning 8 years old, the track – originally crafted by Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl – is still a firm favourite in festival sets to this day with ravers worldwide singing Georgi Kay‘s acapella whenever the instantly recognisable melody kicks in. With Swedish House Mafia legend Axwell considered true titan of the industry, it’s tough to pick just one favourite from the Axtone head honcho’s bursting back-catalogue, but ‘In My Mind’ is certainly in and around the number #1 position!
