Duck Sauce teases new music is coming
After quite some time without news, Duck Sauce, the side project of A-Trak and Arman Van Helden is returning and more details and a hint for potential new music have just been shared on their Twitter account.
With a tweet on January 24th, captioned ‘see you all here next week’, along with a picture of a recorder, some rubber ducks and lots of other, some would say, random items. This seems to be a very likely tease for new music being released by the duo. It is, however, unknown if this would be just a single track or an EP.
The return of the duo was announced with this year’s Coachella line-up where Duck Sauce appeared, and more gigs are underway as the duo was also announced to play at Tomorrowland. The Canadian-American duo was formed in 2009 and gained popularity with their single ‘Barbra Streisand’ in 2010, which landed number 1 chart positions in multiple countries, like Switzerland, The Netherlands, Austria, and Belgium and was awarded Platinum certifications in Australia, Canada, and Germany.
Duck Sauce’s most recent record, ‘Quack’, was released in 2014, an album with a total of 12 tracks. Let’s hope they’ll live up to their standards from previous days and watch this space, and their Twitter account, on what will be announced this week.
