Grimix & Nick Havsen – Deva

With previous releases being signed by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike on their Smash The House imprint sub-label Generation Smash, Grimix has had an amazing start to his promising career and it’s only getting better for him. The Amsterdam-based producer and DJ has been making the rounds around the world for massive performances to devoted fans, which last year included a whopping 10 shows in 5 days at ADE finishing with his own showcase. One of his biggest inspirations is Martin Garrix and he is currently doing specialist study in a school for DJ’s and event management. When he isn’t at school, he’s making massive bangers and has just released his first of the year with Nick Havsen.

Nick Havsen is another upcoming producer hailing from Romania. With a track that was debuted at Tomorrowland, it lead to tons of DJ support from the likes of Don Diablo and Fedde Le Grand and now he is eagerly putting his artistic abilities together with Grimix to create a track that has kickstarted off the new year in a big way.

‘Deva’ – released on Generation Smash – is a force that has the power to wreak havoc on the crowds that get to hear it being played to them, making them submit to the incredible and intricate sounds that emit from the track. Finding its place between the worlds of psy-trance and hardstyle, it combines the best of both worlds to create something that can only be described best as an unforgivingly strong mix of aggression and energy.
