New Porter Robinson album is coming

It’s been quite a few years since we have had new music from Porter Robinson. Of course, we’ve had the Virtual Self side project but    since ‘Shelter’ with Madeon and the ‘Worlds’ album in 2014, that is all we’ve had but that’s all about to change this year.

In a Tweet posted by Porter himself, he has just dropped some information that has shaken the entire electronic music world up. In 2020, in which the date is yet to be enclosed, Porter will officially be dropping his new album ‘Nurture’. Stating that he has put his entire heart into this, it’s been a long time in the making and we can only assume he has spent all of his time and effort in making it align with his creative visions as an artist.

Not making us wait too long for new album material however, the first single from ‘Nurture’ is dropping tomorrow. Titled ‘Get your Wish’, it’s premiering 11am PST (or 7pm in the UK) on his YouTube channel and the comments are already exploding! Taking an entirely different visual approach to ‘Worlds’, we can assume that there will be an entirely new live show along with new visuals and new moments to fall in love with.

It’s not just the fans that are excited about this either, with fellow producers like Madeon, San Holo, Rezz, Lane 8 and many many more expressing their excitement for Porter Robinson via Twitter.
