Co-founded by Sacha Lord (who is also the co-founder to The Warehouse Project in Manchester), Parklife is an annual two-day festival hosted at Heaton Park in Manchester. Undeniably one of the cities biggest and most popular events yearly, the festival brings in around 80,000 partygoers from all over the country. Priding itself on its diverse lineup which features a variety of genres within the music scene, previous artists have included the likes of Snoop Dogg, The Chemical Brothers and Disclosure to name a few. Electronic music is one of the leading genres that dominates the non-camping festival and you can expect the 2020 lineup to be one of the biggest yet.

If you have the festival blues and can’t wait for the gloomy months to be over, then Parklife has some news coming some time in the next week to tie you over until June 13 & 14 when the festival will be open for business once again. Their socials read “Good things come to those who wait, Parklife 2020 revealed next week…” which means by this time next week we will know who will be leading the lineup.

Ahead of the full announcement though, one artist has already been named and it’s none other than JME. Bringing his unique Grime concept, ‘Grime MC FM’, it seems the festival is off to a massive start already. The rest of the lineup will follow very shortly, although it seems on their website (which if you go to, gives you the chance to win four VIP tickets for the full weekend if you sign up via email now) that there is a character who bears a striking resemblance to Tyler, The Creator. All will be revealed in the following days!
