RONA – Sun On Me

Singer, producer and DJ RONA is a triple threat extraordinaire. Showcasing her talents across a variety of skills in the electronic music world, it seems that there’s nothing she can’t do. From the age of 7 she was singing, and at the age of 20 she started to combine her vocal talents together with producing when she started to study electronic production and sound to get a better understanding of the technical process. As an independent artist who does everything for herself, she’s come super far already and has caught the eyes of some labels who have given her past releases a home. There’s a lot of soul within her tracks and lyrics, creating a spiritual balance that is somewhat unexpected but extremely beautiful.

‘Sun On Me’ is the latest piece of work by RONA and rather than just being a track, it becomes a whole journey through melodies the further it progresses. With 7 minutes and 30 seconds of pure beats, it gives time for an in-depth journey to take place and for the beats to grow stronger and stronger as it goes on. Starting off with a simple yet effective beat, layers upon layers are added to create more detail and depth. The true gem, though, is the vocals. With lyrics that are sung in such a way that the listener can’t help but to be sucked in, it puts the cherry on top of a true masterpiece.
