Chris Lake announces UK return with Easter event in London
After dominating the US dance scene in recent years, Chris Lake will make an eagerly anticipated return to his native UK this Spring, with a special show at Village Underground on Easter Friday. The event, to be held at the London dance venue in partnership with COGO Events, will see Chris Lake debut his first ever Black Book Records showcase, as his label brings a very special cast of TBA guests to the capital.
Taking place between 10pm-4am on 10th April, the event follows Chris Lake‘s Sunday W2 set at Tomorrowland, where his epic finale closed The Magician‘s ‘Potion’ stage. The British producer and DJ has also toured the States relentlessly in recent times, performing a series of b2b sets with good friend and tech-house giant, FISHER, with whom Lake co-produced ‘Losing It’, as well as ‘Ya Kidding’ and ‘Stop It’.
Having started his career making progressive electro and house music, with Balearic anthems such as ‘Only One’, ‘Changes’, and ‘Sundown’, Chris Lake has since verged into a more bass-oriented vibe, pumping out huge hits such as ‘I Want You’ on Skrillex‘s OWLSA label, as well as Solardo (‘Free Your Body‘) and Green Velvet (‘Deceiver‘) collaborations on his own Black Book imprint.
