Duck Sauce – Smiley Face

After a six-year hiatus, the duo Duck Sauce composed of house music stars Armand van Helden and A-Trak is back with the release of the infectious groove record ‘Smiley Face’. It is worth remembering that at the beginning of the last decade, Duck Sauce was one of the biggest names in the scene, alongside Avicii, Skrillex, and Swedish House Mafia. Who doesn’t remember the great hit ‘Barbra Streisand’ released in 2010?

In recent years, both members have followed their careers, releasing songs and performing at major festivals, highlighting Armand van Helden’s house classics set at Tomorrowland. With the official announcement of the return at the beginning of January and future performances at Tomorrowland and Coachella, the authors of the hits ‘Barbra Streisand’ and ‘Big Bad Wolf’ surprised fans with this track, which symbolizes the Duck Sauce project – grooves and well-developed basslines, with vocals that recall the Disco era.

This is a sign that the duo returned with full force for 2020, which makes us expect more singles and EPs to be released soon. We expect that the next works will come with new elements, without leaving aside the sound that marked the success of the duo in the early 2010s.
