EDC Las Vegas theme revealed for 2020 edition
With everything set in stone for the 10th anniversary of EDC Las Vegas – with tickets already sold out, and lineup coming next week -, May is coming closer and soon the motor speedway venue will once again be the epicenter of electronic music for one weekend in the Vegas desert. Revealing some news about the state of EDC for 2020, Insomniac head Pasquale Rotella announced that, for the first time ever, they will be using the speedway in its entirety creating more dancing room and better rave feng-shui all around.
In the spirit of announcing things, Pasquale has kept the ball rolling and unveiled the theme for this year’s edition. Theming is something that the dusk till dawn festival does extremely well, paying close attention to little details that create an all round amazing rave experience, and this year will certainly be no different at all. This year’s theme is officially kineticZEN, and it has a great message behind it. It’s all about taking that time out to take care of your body, mind, soul and everything else in between, reminding attendees to do things to help achieve balance and focus. Explaining the meaning behind it all in a post, Pasquale stated:
“Anything that fuels our focus and helps us achieve balance is our zen. For some people, that could be dancing, working out, going for a bike ride or a long drive, or just chilling on the beach and taking in a beautiful sunset. I’ve always tried to encourage Headliners to live in the moment and be present. I need reminders myself each day.”
So there we have it! The official theme for EDC, and now ticket holders can start planning outfits accordingly! EDC Las Vegas takes place May 15, 16 and 17 this year, and whilst tickets are sold out you can still sign up to their waiting list here.
