Live concerts that aren’t in person, but rather online, are catching heat and trending pretty quickly in today’s ever-changing music world. They’re a great way to ensure that anyone around the world can see a performance put on by their favourite artist for free and it also shows how fast technology is evolving and giving many more opportunities to artists. It’s especially hot within the electronic scene right now, with Marshmello performing within the realm of Fortnite and Jauz also partnering with technology company (and creator of the world’s first multi-channel virtual entertainment platform for live concerts) Wave for his ‘Dangerous Waters’ concert. Now, duo Galantis are following suit.

Also partnering up with Wave, Galantis are throwing an extra special virtual live concert in celebration of their third studio album Church, which released on February 7. Transforming into custom avatars using motion capture technology, the pair will play a 30-minute long set in real-time via their official YouTube channel and invite the Seafoxnation into their world from the comfort of their own homes. This show is one of the biggest and most ambitious that Wave have ever one, working with a duo for the first time, and will feature special cameos and lots of mind blowing moments that aren’t to be missed! Speaking about the concert, Galantis had this to say:

“We’re so excited to be able to share the Church of Galantis show with all of Seafoxnation around the world. We had this idea to bring Church into a virtual realm, where everyone could come together as one body of music lovers and share this awesome experience no matter where you live. This virtual tour stop with Wave will be a special one.”

The concert takes place on February 26 at 11:30 AM PT, and you can visit their YouTube channel by clicking here, to make sure you don’t miss out.
