Calvin Harris alias Love Regenerator to drop two new tracks this Friday

The electronic world is still buzzing from the explosive debut of Calvin Harris’ alias Love Regenerator. With two tracks kicking off the start of this era – ‘Hypnagogic (I Can’t Wait)’ and ‘CP-1’ – fans were embracing this new side of Harris and were happy to hear a shift from the radio-friendly sound that he had perfected over the years. The techno-style beats proved that he can truly master any genre, and now you’re going to hear some new stuff from the alias sooner than you think.

Taking to his Love Regenerator Instagram account, he dropped the news that on Friday 14, he would celebrate Valentine’s Day with two more releases. Titled ‘The Power Of Love II’ and ‘Regenerate Love’, the cover art is taking the same aesthetic approach as the first two singles with a trippy eye-catching design. We aren’t yet sure what these tracks will sound like, but if it’s anything like the other two then we can be sure that his fans – and the music industry – will be in for a true treat.

Calvin Harris is taking over 2020 with his new approach to music making, and his commercial sounds seem to be put on hold for a while whilst he explores the trippy world of techno. As we previously quoted, his reasoning for creating this new project is as follows:

“I wanted to rediscover the way I originally began producing music 22 years ago, before I ever thought about how it might be perceived by outside forces. Just pure fun and experimentation with what sounded good to me.”

The new EP will be out on all streaming platforms Friday 14 February.
