Rumours start to swirl as new Tom Swoon music emerges

The EDM world is in a state of confusion right now thanks to a new release from Polish DJ and producer, Tom Swoon. After bursting onto the scene with a string of big electronic anthems, Swoon rose as high as number #47 in the DJ Mag Top 100. But his plight was soon one of catastrophic proportions, when the DJ was sentenced to four years and eight months in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter in 2018. The sentencing followed a fatal drunk driving accident in December 2017 in which Swoon killed one person and injured another.

With the producer seemingly unlikely to release any new music for the duration of this span, ‘Hey Hey, My My’ has now surfaced as a new release, confusing many fans as to how Swoon has distributed this given his current location, and situation. With news website ‘Essential Music Poland’ breaking this story, we can only report the information they have provided, but with the track also available on Spotify, and marked down as a ‘2020’ release, the song credits list Swoon as both writer and producer of the track, which features melancholic lyrics that perfectly reflect his life right now.

You can check out the track below and also read the thread from Reddit, where one user writes: “So, I won’t link the track because I don’t understand what’s happening, but I was wondering how a new Tom Swoon track appeared in my Release Radar playlist on Spotify.”
