Gorgon City press play on the soundtrack of this summer in Ibiza with an elegant tech house tune.

For this duo, summer really is a kingdom they want to be king of and so far the throne has been theirs. Last year, they took the summer season by storm with their scintillating album ‘Olympia‘. This year, without leaving the domain of the gods, Gorgon City have teamed up with Sonny Fodera to dominate the nights of Amnesia Ibiza in a residency that will make your Mondays the liveliest days of the week. But despite anchoring themselves to the white island on Mondays, there’s still time to heat up the release charts with the best music and they leave their strong contribution to this summer’s soundtrack this week. Gorgon City debuted the compilation format on their famed imprint REALM with a collection that promises to be the tracklist for a Balearic summer in Ibiza.

Out this weekend, the six-track catalogue delivers a varied selection of elegance that oscillates between tech house, deep house and melodic house, three spices that combine very well with the vibe of the white island. Entitled ‘REALM IBIZA 2022′, this compilation includes names like NiCe7, Eskuche, Tre Reynolds, Hugo Cantarra, Marcus Cito, Improvidra, and an exclusive track by Gorgon City. Featuring 5 minutes of tailored tech house, ‘Foggy Geezer‘ is the duo’s most recent offering and a dance tune with a party flavour.

Powerful and with a strong personality, this track arrives full of bass and punch, showing that it’s not to be trifled with. It’s deep and sharp, perfect to fill the clubs of Ibiza with its sharp bassline and mysterious melody. Although it’s stitched together with a few lines, it brings out some very interesting layers, in a very elegant balance between the heavier clubbing elements and a more tribal ambience, perfect for summer nights. It’s without a doubt a special and different specimen, that matches with the best tracklists. Listen to it in full below.
