Break My Soul‘ gives Beyoncé another career achievement making her the first woman to have 20 top 10 hits on Billboard Hot 100.

That’s right, ever since Beyoncé released her house-inspired single ‘Break My Soul’, the buzz hasn’t calmed down. After overcoming the surprise, the success of this track has given Beyoncé another important milestone. Thrown into the Billboard Hot 100 right from the start, ‘Break My Soul’ puts the artist among the top elite when it comes to breaking records. After Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson, Beyoncé is the third artist in history to have 20 top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 as a solo artist and 10 on the same chart as a member of a group, all thanks to ‘Break My Soul’.

On 21st June Beyoncé released the first single from her upcoming album ‘Renaissance‘. It didn’t take many seconds for any electronic music fan who has been jamming the dancefloor in the last decades to recognise Robin S.‘s immortal 1993 hit ‘Show Me Love‘. And so it was, Beyoncé made another one of her flashy entrances, this time into the house music temple. The reaction to the release of this single has caused huge waves on the pop, R&B, hip-hop and of course house music circuits as well. However, ‘Break My Soul’ is not ready to leave the headlines just yet. The instant success of this track made Beyoncé break a Billboard record, an incredible achievement. ‘Break My Soul’ currently sits at number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, but who knows how high it could climb. ‘Renaissance’, the highly anticipated album which features this single is set for release later this month, on the 29th.
