Laidback Luke and Gian Varela land vibrant new release "Ponme Loco": Listen

Laidback Luke has returned with brand new music in the form of a refreshing, Latin-inspired tech house release, ‘Ponme Loco’, alongside rising talent Gian Varela.

Their new record sees the best of both worlds collide in this epic new Mixmash Records release as Varela’s stylistic influences blend with Laidback Luke’s electronic finesse for an energy-infused production that’s ready for any dancefloor. In English, ‘Ponme Loco’ translates to  “Get Me Crazy”, and it certainly does what it says on the tin, utilising a clever tech-house platform to bring out a unique writing style while displaying infectious sample inclusions all in one go. Calling upon the vocal talents of Melfi, this track is elevated to the next level, as her timbre and cadence add an extra edge to this track.

‘Ponme Loco’ has already experienced play-out on one of the world’s biggest stages, with Laidback Luke proudly playing it out on the Tomorrowland mainstage just last weekend. Expect to hear it on heavy rotation in the coming months too, as he’s set to play even more European dates, as Gian Varela also has more bookings in the works where he is certain to flex this single.

Speaking on their new collaboration, Laidback Luke outlined his excitement in working with such a budding prospect as Gian Varela;

“I met Gian Varela during this Miami Music Week and his energy and vibe works perfectly for my team and I. He came to us with a bag of demos and I felt Ponme Loco was the perfect fit for me. I think it will help a lot of people go “crazy” on the dance floors. Let’s go loco this summer!”
