MORTEN has made his name over the past few years working alongside one of the industries biggest names in David Guetta and blazing a path with their Future Rave sound.  While two continue to pump out hit after hit together, Tomorrowland finds Morten performing on his own and showing that he is a force to reckon with even without his famous counterpart.

After spending weekend one of Tomorrowland on the Library Stage, MORTEN moved over to the beautiful Reflection of Love mainstage for the second weekend of the event.  With such massive singles as Make It To Heaven, Impossible and Kill Me Slow in his arsenal, there was no doubt that the Danish producer and dance music fans everywhere, were ready for this performance.  While the set did feature heavily on tracks MORTEN produced with his fellow Future Rave counterpart, he also navigated through a variety of tracks old and new from other major artists, showing his diversity in influences as well as understanding the expectations of playing the mainstage at Tomorrowland.  Early on, MORTEN peppered in the vocal from Calvin Harris’ 2015 hit, How Deep Is Your Love, a track that seems to have been popular this year for performers at Tomorrowland.  He also took listeners back through David Guetta’s catalogue, showcasing his past collaboration with Akon, Sexy Bitch, while finding space for music from Nelly Furtado, Dillon Francis and Avicii in between his own works and edits.

While fans no doubt clamored the most for the mega hits and sing-a-longs featured here, MORTEN also gave fans a glimpse into the future, premiering four total ID’s, two of them to be solo tracks, while the other two with David Guetta.  As his time neared the end, MORTEN dropped his Future Rave re-work of the industry staple Titanium, a fitting exclamation point to his first appearance on the Tomorrowland mainstage!
