Ibiza-based music platform OpenLab has announced it is teaming up with TokenTraxx to reveal their first audio-visual NFT collection, bringing cutting edge talent together with exciting names in the visual arts space.

OpenLab and TokenTraxx are two big names in the NFT world, continuing their collaboration with an audio-visual NFT collection titled ’New Mycelium Network‘. The collection is inspired heavily by the networked roots of fungi, taking collaboration as a jumping-off point for imaginative and creative departures in difficult times, and follows on from their early-access Future Pass. With this collection, it will see the two platforms further their aim to be an epicentre of independent music, also giving talented artists in the music and arts space a platform.

The ‘New Mycelium Network’ collection sees a group of artists in different mediums team up together. Firstly, OpenLab and TokenTraxx have teamed up Ellie Pritts with Kate Simko. Championing the arts space and also being a classically trained cellist, Pritts curates eye-catching psychedelic artworks, combining AI technology with old school technology and intricate coding techniques to form her designs. On the other hand, Simko is the founder of LEO – the London Electronic Orchestra, an all-female fusion of orchestral and electronic music who has also worked alongside Jamie Jones and Seth Troxler whilst teaching electronic music at The Royal College of Music. Both masters at their art forms, Pritts and Simko have curated unique artworks for this collection that anyone would jump at the chance to own.

Rigid Audio Black Friday

This isn’t all, as OpenLab and TokenTraxx have also brought Japanese digital artist Saeko Ehara, who has a fascination for glitter and is also a VJ who creates art that responds in real-time to music, and Xiaolin (Olivia Xiaolin), a producer and DJ who fuses wildly different genres such as jazz and acid house, together.

On 29 July, a highly limited number of OpenLab Future Passes will be made available through TokenTraxx for early access to this exclusive NFT drop, so be sure to visit the website here to check out more information. Be sure to also keep an eye out on these platforms as their collaborative journey into the exciting realm of digital art is just beginning.
