To make the crowd go wild during daylight is a difficult task, but Nicky Romero made sure that the task was done successfully. Premiering a ton of new music, as well as dropping some classics, this set lived up to expectations.

Nicky Romero isn’t a beginner when it comes to playing Tomorrowland. From the first 10 minutes of the set, it was clear that this will be Nicky Romero’s classic 2022 set as we know it. One of his latest releases, “Lose My Mind” was dropped as one of the first tracks. A euphoric moment came when Nicky played a mashup of “Only You” vs. “Warriors“. After this mashup, the latest Nicky Romero release, a collaboration with NIIKO X SWAE, “Easy” was played. “Easy” is a perfect, joyful, summer track that has some great house vibes. A surprise came right after with “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!” edit by HÄWK. This track has been used across many Tomorrowland acts and the crowd loved it. Nicky then continued with his tech house style, playing ID together with an “In Da Getto acapella.

There wasn’t a shortage of progressive house either. Well-known “Harmony” vs “Runaway” and “Afterglow” vs “Fade Into Darkness” mashups were played. One of the most anticipated progressive IDs at the moment, together with the “Summertime Sadness” acapella was played shortly after. This track was played for the first time during Ultra Miami and since then fans are anticipating this progressive gem. But that wasn’t the last ID of the set. After a while, Nicky dropped a brand-new collaboration with W&W, known as “Hot Summer Night With You“. This track is a perfect blend of their styles like their first collaboration “Ups & Downs“.

At the almost very end of the set, Nicky played his new progressive ID, already called “Chapters” by the fans. It has a very nice 2015 Nicky Romero vibe. This track was definitely the highlight of the set. Nicky Romero ended the set with nothing other than I Could Be The One” and we can’t wait till all the IDs get a release date!
