Printworks took to social media this week to announce that will be offering up a massive series of events for its Autumn schedule. The announcement comes just weeks after a decision by the Southwark Council was approved to demolish the iconic venue in order to transform the site into an office park.

News of the destruction of the iconic club was announced last month much to the dismay of loyal music fans and club goers. While more details for the official end of the popular nightclub have yet to be released, the venue and its team are ensuring that fans are able to enjoy one last spectacle at Printworks. Throughout the week, Printworks official Twitter account has been focusing on the future and building enthusiasm for an upcoming Autumn schedule which is promised to be the biggest series to date. That’s a bold statement coming from a venue which has hosted such iconic acts as deadmau5, Jauz, Charlotte de Witte, and Joel Corry.  As of now, fans of the venue will just have to wait for an official announcement but posts to the official Printworks social media are directing followers to sign up for their official mailing list, which can be found here or accessed via the post below.

While it will of course be a sad day when Printworks does officially close its doors to give way to office space, the prospect of a new sister venue, Beams, should certainly excite fans hoping to keep the spirit and energy of the former going. Until more details emerge, all interested fans should be sure to sign up for the mailing list above in order to ensure a chance to spend a few more hours at the iconic club before it closes its doors for good.
