Rüfüs Du Sol, the Grammy winning electronic music trio, have released their highly anticipated Surrender (Remixes) album via their own Rose Ave./Reprise and Warner Records label.  The album arrives following the release of Surrender in October 2021, a release that saw the group winning both a Grammy and ARIA for the single Alive, as well as amassing over 1.5 billion streams since it hit digital platforms.

For the remix album, Rufus Du Sol, which consists of James Hunt, Tyrone Lindqvist and Jon George, enlisted a wide array of friends and fellow producers to re imagine the album.  With a variety of contributors, such as Dom Dolla, Monkey Safari, Cassian, Magdalena and many more, the Australian trio has continued to push their sound and allow for unique interpretations of their work to flourish, while engaging fans in a myriad of ways.  On top of the actual release, the group has always curated a one of a kind VR experience to complement the music.

With this release, Rufus Du Sol stated:

We’re so excited to have curated this collection of tracks geared for the dancefloor from artists we love and respect from around the world. Hearing these amazing artists all breathe new life into our music in their own ways is such a treat for us. We’ve been road-testing these in our DJ sets all year, they’ve been going off. Sad to let go of some of our secret weapons, but we can’t wait for everyone to hear the full fourteen tracks.

Clearly they have spent time with these versions and fans who have caught their live shows will no doubt be excited to be able to stream the tracks on their own time.  For those who are avid collectors, the set will be pressed to a dramatic red double vinyl, complete with extensive liner notes and more and this can be pre-ordered right here.  Of course it can be streamed on all digital platforms, a direct link is here as well as on the media player below.
