Swedish House Mafia cemented their return this year with their first world tour in nearly 10 years, the Paradise Again World Tour.  While the tour began in Miami at the end of the July, it has also made stops in New York City, Montreal, Toronto and Chicago thus far and the group has been documenting the trek along the way.

The short clip, which was uploaded to YouTube as Swedish House Mafia: Paradise Again World Tour – Chapter 1 takes fans behind the scenes as the group prepares for their first official tour since reuniting at Ultra Music Festival in 2018.  Layered with images from the arena show, as well as clips from their now infamous pop up party in New York City with Fred Again, it is full of commentary from the three members as they discuss their return to the stage as well as the production for the tour itself.  First to speak, is Sebastian Ingrosso, who discusses the groups plight and journey while sitting in the back of a car.  He reflects on the groups humble beginnings, playing a small rave to about 90 people and how that escalated to the massive arena’s and festival stages of their farewell tour in 2013.  The important takeaway is that the energy and purpose never changes and he sums it up by stating, “This is not a concert, this is just a bigger version of the paradise.”

From here, the video takes fans to the production, as the members of Swedish House Mafia and their production crew are working through the details of their glorious floating stage ring as well as the pyrotechnics and lighting that bring the show to life.  A particularly fun moment comes while discussing the use of fire during the set and the camera cuts to Axwell walking backstage and he reveals where the group landed on the element, “People need to feel the fire in their faces.  So now we go get more flames.”  The short clip is a fun watch and hopefully a great push for fans around the world to get their tickets as the tour continues to touch down in the United States and around the world through November.  Check out the groups official site for upcoming dates and ticket information.
