UNSEEN is a record label looking to make a difference to the scene through the collision of art and the digital sphere. To welcome it to the world, they have unveiled a massive new EP from Citizen Kain, ‘Kiss Me Again‘. As said by the label, it: “blurs boundaries and radiates on another plane. Our community is one of pure energy, of kindred spirits seeking harmony.”

Preparing to push boundaries in the music industry, UNSEEN is a brand new record label which is aiming to bring the worlds of art and the digital space together as one, a concoction of modern and ever-evolving technology. Blurring boundaries with not only this, their music will also tell a story and take listeners on a magical journey through techno sounds and melodic masterpieces. Starting this new journey, they also want to open up a space for new, emerging and a mix of familiar artists to express themselves free from the constraints and pressures of what the industry may expect from them. Self expression, exploration and energy is exactly what UNSEEN stands for, whether it be on the dancefloor or at home, and this new journey will see them make massive waves in the scene.

To get to the root of what UNSEEN is all about and what we, and the fans, could expect from it in the near future as it grows, we sat down with the minds of UNSEEN to find out more.

With UNSEEN, what message are you trying to send to the industry?

The label’s true vision is to give room for creative minds to explore themselves and their sounds. Find their art and better it. Reach old frontiers and surpass them.

What sounds or artists can fans expect to find on the label as it evolves?

A sonic odyssey rhythmed by compelling melodies, resounding beats and underlying grooves, modern frequencies and future sounds. We’d like to keep our upcoming artists a secret for now.

Do you have any long term goals for UNSEEN?

UNSEEN, a label that tells a story of old and new, of physical and intangible. Be it through releases or later on on the dancefloors, UNSEEN aims to gather their artists and listeners in one big exchange of energy.

UNSEEN has officially kicked off with its first release, released on August 3. Starting out strong as they mean to go on, they play host to Citizen Kain‘s newest release, a three-track EP featuring two originals and a remix by the hands of The Element of the title track ‘Kiss Me Again’. A solid start to the label and another huge release under the producer’s belt, it sets the solid foundations for this label to grow, also setting the tone as to what we can expect from future releases. ‘Kiss Me Again’, the title track, is a 7-minute masterpiece to truly lose yourself in.

Featuring different sonics that can act as ‘parts’ to the track, it connects with different moods, being uplifting and euphoric but also showcasing its darker, club side. On the other hand, melodic house & techno artist The Element gives us his take on the track with his key talent. Going all out with the groove, yet paying attention to the intrinsic melodies of the original, he strikes the perfect balance of his & Citizen Kain’s sound, and his otherworldly melodies will resonate with listeners all around the world. To round out the EP nicely, another original titled ‘Sandy Ground‘ sets out on a mission to enchant listeners – and it succeeds.

As we wait to see what else UNSEEN pulls out of the bag as it begins a strong new journey, listen to Citizen Kain’s EP featuring The Element down here, and don’t forget to keep up with the label on Facebook here.
