Bass music has gained immense popularity, particularly in the EDM scene. Its signature heavy basslines and pulsating rhythms have attracted a dedicated fanbase, and the genre has continued to evolve and influence other styles of music. This genre has been revived over the decades by many artists, and now a new name has been added to the list. It’s TR!P HVZVRD, the artist name of Taran Michael Schlegel, a 29-year-old bass music producer from Story, Wyoming.

For TR!P HVZVRD, music has been a constant throughout his life. Having been immersed in music from a young age, he began producing in 2015, and it’s been an integral part of his journey ever since. TR!P HVZVRD’s story is one of resilience, determination, and the transformative power of music.

Despite facing numerous challenges, TR!P HVZVRD has turned adversity into a driving force for good. He has overcome addiction, hardship, incarceration, and recovery and is now on a mission to inspire others to challenge the status quo and embrace their true selves. Through his music and collective, STVY HVZVRDOUS, TR!P HVZVRD is inviting people to join him on a journey of self-discovery, innovation, and transformation. This is best reflected in “Without You,” his upcoming single that is set to release on all platforms on April 30th.

In “Without You,” he has woven together thundering basslines to create an ever-shifting landscape of sonic intensity. “The intricate arrangement and complex sound design reflect my devotion to concocting otherworldly electronic music,” he says. The track will introduce distinct bass rhythms to electrifying beats and mesmerizing sonic textures that will most likely set new standards in the EDM realm. He invites fans to pre-save the track to help him reach a wider audience. TR!P HVZVRD’s music is not just about the bass but has a unique vibe that oscillates between introspective and exhilarating, luring listeners into a state of emotional connection.

TR!P HVZVRD’s project focuses on intention in production and inspiring uniqueness. He takes pride in synthesizing sounds and creating something that is truly his own. Through his collective, he has created a space for like-minded bass music enthusiasts to come together and learn, create, and grow. For TR!P HVZVRD, these are not just principles for making music but principles for life.

Despite living in Wyoming, where he is battling against the odds, TR!P HVZVRD spends at least 4 hours a day in the studio, grinding and making music. He has amassed 200K plays on Soundcloud with 2,822 followers. His hard work has paid off, earning him the opportunity to perform at several music festivals, including Mad Mountain Music Festival in 2021 and Synesthesia Music & Arts Festival in 2022. He has also supported other artists like Josh Teed, Daggz, Protohype, Tsimba, DMVU, Another Methodology, Ujuu, and Rynns.

TR!P HVZVRD’s biggest challenge has been giving up his life to everyone but himself. He struggled with addiction and partying and was incarcerated for three years. He lost his father to ongoing complications of a stroke in 2019, just before the pandemic hit. However, these challenges have not stopped him from pursuing his dreams. TR!P HVZVRD has channeled his pain into his music and created something truly unique.

TR!P HVZVRD is separating himself from the crowd by creating a space for like-minded individuals. He wants to grow as a brand but not as a cheap imitation and says, “I see TR!P HVZVRD as a well-known name in electronic music as someone to stand up and be a beacon of hope in this sea of copycats. I see the project booked out for shows.” TR!P HVZVRD will continue making incredible music while turning his collective STVY HVZVRDOUS into a platform where artists can unite, learn, create, and grow.
