Beatport Launches Dedicated Playlist for Undiscovered Independent Artists

Beatport is working with independent artist distribution partners like TuneCore, DistroKid, and Music Hub to find the best up-and-coming talent. The internal curation team at Beatport will carefully select which independent artists to include in the weekly updated playlist. This gives independent artists a great opportunity to get their music discovered by DJs and fans around the world through Beatport’s huge community. The playlist provides a dedicated space to promote self-produced artists who may struggle to get noticed otherwise.

Independent artists can submit their tracks through TuneCore, DistroKid, or Music Hub for a chance to be featured on the “Best New Independent Artists” playlist on Beatport. TuneCore’s CEO Andreea Gleeson stated this playlist “With the Best New Independent Artists playlist, Beatport continues to recognize and uplift indie electronic music artists that are on the rise by amplifying their music and creating even more opportunities to springboard their audience development to the next level.“
