David Guetta tops chart for most dominating male DJ in 2024

David Guetta has marked another achievement off his list by being named Spin Genie UK’s most dominant male DJ in 2024.

David Guetta continues to be a force to be reckoned with in electronic music. Whether creating new sounds or collaborating with the biggest artists in the world, he is the definition of a global icon. Through this, he has checked off many accomplishments but now has earned another as he was named Spin Genie UK’s most dominant male DJ in 2024.

Generating a list of the nine most dominant male DJs in 2024, Spin Genie UK has analyzed data from multiple sources and through this generated a score for each artist on the list. Taking into account numbers such as monthly Spotify listeners, annual Google searches, new articles and other factors, each DJ is given a score on a scale of zero to ten. DJ Snake and Tiësto came in ninth place tied with a score of 8.87, Diplo was eighth with 8.96, Alan Walker was seventh with a perfect 9, Martin Garrix and Avicii placed fifth with 9.02, Calvin Harris came in 4th with 9.43 while Alok was third with 9.49, Marshmello finished second to Guetta with 9.55 and ultimately Guetta finished on top with a 9.66.

With over 73 million monthly Spotify listeners, nine million annual Google searches, 11 million Instagram followers and over 17,000 news articles to his name, it’s obvious why Guetta has taken the top spot, and it’s rightfully earned. Guetta has been the pioneer for new sounds and has created some of the most popular songs in the music this year.
