Over the years, electronic music has seen its fair share of trolls, with some epic tweets and live moments well documented. One of the most accomplished trolls is of course deadmau5 and he struck again at EDC this weekend in Las Vegas.

Reviewing the history of deadmau5 troll moments is almost a rite of passage for fans of electronic music. His online bouts with Skrillex, Kanye West, Afrojack, Marshmello, Disney, and more are the things of legend. Even his 2014 Ultra Music Festival set, replacing Avicii who backed out due to health issues at the last minute, presented a comical moment as he combined the melody of Mary Had a Little Lamb with Martin Garrix’s Animals to poke fun at the young producer. While it seems that the Canadian producer has calmed down a bit with his inter-industry feuds, he returned in full form in Las Vegas this past weekend for another legendary troll moment.

Recently during her Coachella set, Grimes faced extended technical difficulties during her Weekend 1 performance, causing a bit of chaos and controversy throughout the internet. Even though most people have put the moment behind them with the ongoing influx of entertainment and information in the following weeks, it seems that deadmau5 did not forget. Over the weekend in Las Vegas, a video played of Grimes explaining how the technology on stage was very complex during her difficulties the prior month. In classic deadmau5 fashion, he used this moment in conjunction with his classic track Sometimes Things Get, Whatever showing that he hasn’t lost his touch.
