NERO continues album rollout with exciting new single ‘Draw Energy’: Listen
Having remained relatively dormant in recent years, the incredible electronic trio NERO is finally preparing to release their long-anticipated third album. While no date has been announced for the album, the third single from the project has been delivered to fans everywhere.
After their meteoric rise to the forefront of the electronic music landscape, Daniel Stephens, Joe Ray, and Alana Watson, collectively known as NERO have taken their time in between releases to hone their music. It is hard to believe that it has been nearly a decade since they dropped their incredible sophomore release, Between II Worlds, but that is the reality of the situation. Thankfully the trio has lost none of their edge or passion in the meantime, returning with two previously released singles worthy of their past successes. Following up on The Truth and Blame You, they have now delivered a haunting vocal that truly expands upon the Alana Watson vocal tracks of their early works.
Opening with an adrenaline-fueled race to the drop, Watson repeats the refrain, “Don’t stop, take me, breathe, draw energy,” the repeated mantra builds an alluring tension. The trio does not let listeners down as they embark upon a mechanical musical journey interspersed with more vocal snippets.
“This song started with the first sound you hear in the track – which was a piece of machinery that we recorded in a car park. We knew we wanted to build something heavy and energetic around it but with a feeling of ‘human meets machine’.”

As fans await a release date for the highly anticipated album, Into The Unknown, the release of Draw Energy is a staunch reminder that NERO is more driven than ever following their five-year hiatus.
