While Noer the Boy finds him currently exploring heavy bass music, his background and production credits reveals a true artist and composer. Now he further builds upon his legacy with the release of his latest EP, Mr. Gibbons.

Noer the Boy may not be a household name to many in the electronic music scene, but his work has seen him tour around the world and craft music alongside some truly legendary artists. His massive production powers have garnered the interest of industry heavyweights such as NOISIA, The Glitch Mob, G Jones, and even saw him work alongside DJ Shadow on the single Horror Show with Danny Brown. Following releases via world-renowned labels such as Mass Appeal, VISION, and Subsidia, he now finds himself on REZZ’s imprint HyperVizion.

Following up on his previously released single, Mr. Gibbons, Noer the Boy now rounds out the full EP of the same name with two additional tracks. Collecting Anuthaone and Six Six Six alongside the title track completes a narrative for Mr. Gibbons’s character.

“I’m a big fan of concept records. Each of these three tracks represent the nonchalant and unstoppable march of Mr. Gibbons. He’s unaware of his powers and only wants to keep moving and exploring and playing. I take a lot of inspiration from classical marches and this is my attempt to transmute those compositional techniques into electronic bass music. Drawing inspiration from older art forms and infusing it with new approaches is a creative goldmine.”

With his dark and broody production style, Noer the Boy seems right at home on REZZ’s imprint. Check out the incredible 3-track EP Mr. Gibbons below.
