Offaiah and Conor Grant join forces for ‘No Competition’

As he continues to leave his mark on the dance music industry, Offaiah has once again crafted a dancefloor-ready anthem just in time for summer gatherings. For his latest work, he is joined by Conor Grant to deliver the infectious new release No Competition.

Grounded with a smooth and seductive opening horn melody, the driving bass and pulsing synths quickly take over with a sparse but impactful percussion section to drive the track forward. As a rising star in the UK house scene, Offaiah again shows off his mastery of the genre, crafting a track that never lets up but doesn’t feel overproduced or forced. Helping him on this production is 21-year-old Conor Grant, who hails from Kent and is beginning to make his mark on the clubs in his region as well, playing several popular establishments and holding down a residency at the infamous Egg in London.

For their new collaboration, Offaiah and Conor Grant have built No Competition around a dazzling vocal sample, with the strong female voice repeating the refrain, “Ain’t got no competition” throughout. While the vocal is certainly unmistakably catchy, the music works in unison, with no element outshining any other but rather they all work in unison. With both DJs spending more time on stage as they continue to rise through the industry’s ranks, No Competition will surely be a mainstay in their sets, helping set the mood for the gathered audiences.
