Silesia Beats Music Festival: A shared celebration of electronic music

Celebrating electronic music in the most immersive of manners, Silesia Beats Musical Festival will be taking place on the 25th of May in Poland, where Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Don Diablo will be headlining this unique music festival.

Acting as the ultimate electronic music event in Poland, Silesia Beats Music Festival will be taking place on May 25th, where over twenty acts will be bringing the heat with their live performances. Located at the PreZero Arena in the City of Gliwice, festival-goers in the region and not only are in for a treat, with no other than the dynamic duo of Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike and Future House pioneer Don Diablo headlining this shared celebration of electronic music.

Catering for all types of dance music enthusiasts, Silesia Beats Music Festival will be boasting three different stages, with the largest of all, The Mainstage, playing host to the headline acts, whilst also a smaller in capacity stage known as the Club Stage will be providing that club atmosphere we all know and love, with finally the Techno Stage will be offering that underground vibe all throughout the event. Taking over an additional space with the Super VIP Zone, TO/YA, JUSTRI, and ROKO will be ensuring nothing less than the most feel-good of vibes.

In addition to the aforementioned headliners, everyone in attendance will be lost into the rhythm of some of the most well-renowned of acts, with the likes of Martin Jensen, Westbam, Moguai, Juicy M, Azteck, Merow, Steff Da Campo, C-Bool, Dave Lambert, DJ Kuba & Neitan, Adam De Great, Duss, Neevald, Michał Lazar, Lith K, Dobfraza, SiaSia, Meszi, De Layna, BP, Sandpokers, Joseph & Baltazar, and of course psytrance sensation MR.BLACK leaving no doubt to the imagination.

We sat down with Adam Mitrenga of Silesia Beats to discuss the vision, development and this year’s edition:

1 – Hello Adam! Could you talk us through the development of Silesia Beats, and the significance of hosting events of such nature in Poland?Hi! This project began during the COVID pandemic, when I organized three editions of Pepsi Silesia Beats – one of the largest live DJ streams in Europe, straight from the heart of a massive stadium where stars like The Rolling Stones, Metallica, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Rammstein have performed. It was the first time that electronic dance music found its place there in such a way. Due to the lockdown, it was an audience-free event, fully produced for television. Since then, there have been questions about when SILESIA BEATS will happen with an audience. And now, here we are – gearing up for the first edition with an audience at PreZero Arena Gliwice. This project is important to us because we want to showcase a different dimension of entertainment and the best of fun. Poland has an amazing audience, so I believe bringing Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike to Poland will be noticed.

2 – With Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Don Diablo headlining the festival, we would like to know the impact such dance music pioneers can have on the event, as well as your approach when it comes to completing this immersive lineup for Silesia Beats?

Yes – Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are our main headliners, with Don Diablo as the second. However, personally, all the Artists of Silesia Beats are special to me and contribute to the event. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are global icons, a duo that has exploded onto the scene with their career and productions. Don Diablo is a powerhouse name, not just in Future House – together, they make an explosive mix!

This is one of the rare occasions where we have such a diverse lineup of DJs – from the modern to the highly experienced, with many hits or just starting out, but all very talented producer-DJs. We aimed not to focus solely on one style of electronic music but to bring together fans of various styles.

3 – Celebrating electronic music in the most immersive of manners, could you talk us through the core values of organising such an event, as well as the overall message that it sets out to portray?

NO DIFFERENCES. NO DIVISIONS. Positive and collective fun, whether you’re 18 or 50. Whether you like hard techno, house, tech house, or EDM. Honestly, I prefer to call Silesia Beats an event rather than a festival because we want to build and unite the community. We want it to be the loudest and best night in May!
