The Chainsmokers release new single as they deliver latest EP: Listen

When The Chainsmokers returned from a 3-year hiatus to deliver their fourth album So Far So Good, they promised to avoid such long delays in releases. They have kept to that promise, releasing their second of collection of songs in as many years.

In recent months, The Chainsmokers have continued to showcase why they are amongst the most successful electronic music acts on the planet, delivering an onslaught of music at a steady pace. Today the duo of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart collect their recent hits Addicted and Friday to deliver their latest EP, No Hard Feelings. Alongside the EP, they have also shared a full collection of visualizers as well as a lyric video for their lead single from the collection, No Shade At Pitti. Tying the music together with their visuals, the new videos continue the mountain theme which the group has showcased in their recent videos and press photos.

The new tracks in the collection, No Shade At Pitti, Bad Advice, Tennis Court, and Green Lights (Demo) all provide a strong cohesion to the product while continuing to show how The Chainsmokers are exploring new sounds and styles with each subsequent release. The opening track, No Shade At Pitti shines with a glimmering lead providing a shaky foundation that perfectly fits Drew Taggart’s vocals on the track. While they retain the infectious lyrics and melodies of their past megahits, the duo has found ways to evolve their sound and the exploration on the lead single is proof of their mastery in the studio.
