AIR Music Tech has just announced the release of their latest plugin called the AIR Soft Clipper. This new plugin is designed to help music producers get louder, cleaner, and more polished mixes for genres like R&B, rap, drum and bass, and pop music.
The Soft Clipper improves on traditional clipping technology to add more energy and clarity to your tracks. It uses an advanced clipping process to push the volume higher while avoiding harsh distortion.
The plugin has easy-to-use controls to get great results quickly, even for beginners. The “Quick View” mode provides knobs for adjusting the overall drive/distortion amount, setting the output level, and monitoring levels on a meter. More experienced producers can dive into the “Advanced View” to fine-tune the clipping shape, minimize distortion artifacts, and link the left/right channels.
Other key features include:
The Soft Clipper is available now for $29.99 (introductory price $19.99 until July 2nd) in all major plugin formats including VST, AU, AAX and for the MPC sampling workstation. A 10-day free demo can be downloaded from the AIR Music Tech website.
