Alesso reveals Country music side with ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy) [Remix]’: Listen
Alesso has been a pioneer in the electronic music space throughout his decade-plus-long career. He now releases another epic remix that he hopes will ignite festival-goers throughout 2024.
Renowned for his past remix work, especially the festival staple If I Lose Myself, Alesso is once again delivering a massive remix for a chart-topping single. This time, the newly engaged producer provides his take on the current hit single of the moment, Shaboozey’s A Bar Song (Tipsy). Having quickly amassed over 550 million streams, the original has been a staple of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, currently sitting at the number 5 position for the seventh straight week. With fans worldwide clamoring for the track, it is no surprise that the electronic music community would want to provide festival-ready cuts of the track for the summer events.
Shaboozey’s hit single is so popular that both Alesso and David Guetta delivered remixes of the track today. Alesso replaces the strummed acoustic guitar of the original with a pulsing layer of percussion and bass to provide a foundation for the track. As the chorus hits, the low end is scaled back as the bright keys and synths emerge before a driving percussion welcomes in the drop. The drop explodes in a fashion that feels both classic for Alesso but also showcases his continued growth in the studio. With its massive low-end and heavily processed vocal serving as a lead, he delivers a track that demands listeners to sing a long while they move to the beat.
