The updates will provide users with enhanced hands-free controls and audio experiences. One of the highlighted upgrades allows you to simply nod your head to answer "yes" or shake it to say "no" for headset interactions. This intuitive hands-free control will make it easier to answer calls, skip songs, or execute other commands without having to tap the AirPods.
Apple is also introducing a “voice isolation” feature that uses advanced noise cancellation to make your voice come through crystal clear, even in windy conditions or loud environments. You’ll be able to take calls without worrying about background noise disrupting the conversation.
Spatial audio is being optimized for an immersive gaming experience. Your AirPods will provide personalized surround sound that maps the game’s audio to your headset’s precise positioning. Need For Speed will be the first title with this spatial audio integration.
An “Apple Insight” capability will let you easily identify any song that is playing during a TV show or movie. There is also an “Enhanced Dialogue” mode to boost and clarify speech audio from your entertainment, even when there is loud background sound.
Subtitles on Apple TV also get an upgrade for better customization and viewing. Support for ultra-wide 21:9 projection aspect ratios is being added, along with fun new screensavers like the classic Snoopy character.
According to recent reports from Bloomberg, it is anticipated that Apple will announce a collaboration with OpenAI and unveil a new product or service called “Apple Intelligence” at the event. Catch Apple’s annual event down below.
