BABY Audio to launch a new vocal manipulation plugin

The plugin is expected to be around vocal manipulation and tuning.

Vocal manipulation is one of the most trending techniques in music production right now, and BABY Audio seems to have hit the right spot at the right time. The upcoming BABY Audio plugin will revolve around hard tuning and radical voice manipulation, as confirmed by officials to We Rave You Tech. According to the company, the plugin will have extreme vocal manipulation capabilities that can radically transform any input provided. If you have tried iZotope’s Vocal Synth, this one’s probably a more extreme version of it. A Reddit user leaked a screenshot of the new plugin; from the looks of it, there’s a synthesis section in the plugin that could possibly add a synth layer to the input. There are more controls surrounding it, such as the shape of the waveform, stretch, note shift, and octave. At the center is a really cool-looking transform knob that could possibly control how much of the input is being processed by the synth. At the bottom, there’s a dry/wet fader.

The UI looks quite fascinating, even though the screenshot is only a partial snippet of the complete plugin. The design seems to have drawn inspiration from their plugin Spaced Out, which was a creative delay and reverb plugin. The expected launch date of the plugin is June 26.
