With over two decades of experience behind the DJ booth, Afrojack is among the most experienced professionals in many line-ups. Despite all those years, he showed that even the best sometimes make mistakes during a festival set this weekend.

This past weekend, many of the biggest names in electronic music descended upon Croatia for Ultra Europe. Fans from around the globe were excited to experience one of the premier festival brands on European soil. Featuring a stacked line-up of Hardwell, Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, and more, it is a weekend that many look forward to every year. With the event in full effect, Afrojack took to the Main Stage late on Sunday for what was certainly one of the most anticipated sets.

Showcasing his incredible ability to craft unique mixes and edits while also delivering hits from his catalog and fresh IDs, he provides fans with one of the most exciting and unexpected sets every time he takes the stage. Amidst the transitions and stage production, Afrojack lost his grip on his DJing for a brief moment, allowing a barrage of fireworks to soar into the night sky while the speakers suddenly went silent. After a moment of confusion, the Dutch DJ grabbed the microphone and said, “I can guarantee you that throughout my entire f*cking 20 years of DJing, this was the biggest mistake I ever f*cking made.”

Mistakes happen to the best of us and Afrojack proved that and keenly moved on. Watch the clip below to see the moment he made his massive mistake.
