Home Music Empire of the Sun release their fourth album ‘Ask That God’: Listen

After an eight-year wait, fans of Empire of the Sun, also known as Empyreans, finally have something to celebrate. The visionary duo of Emperor Steele and Lord Littlemore have announced their new album, Ask That God, set to drop this Friday via Capitol Records/EMI Australia. This fourth album unfolds as a holistic musical journey where imagination merges with reality, creating a kaleidoscopic universe where the surreal reigns supreme.

“This body of work represents the greatest shift in consciousness our world has ever seen, and the music reflects that,” Lord Littlemore states. Emperor Steele adds, “We act as conduits, gathering experiences and finding what the Empire is meant to find. ”These songs have wings, and once released, they will fly and find a home with all kinds of souls all over the planet.”

Building on the momentum of their recent singles, “Cherry Blossom,” “Changes,” and “Music On The Radio,” the latest single, “The Feeling You Get,” captures a paradox of emotions. Emperor Steele explains, “Sometimes you don’t know what it is, you don’t know what you do or why you do it… it’s just the feeling you get. Moreover, it’s like a nostalgic 80’s British pop anthem that gets under your skin.” Additionally, Lord Littlemore adds, “Songs can speak for words we can’t find. This song speaks to the listener, reminding them it’s never too late to get out there, have experiences, and make memories.”

As the fourth age of Empire of the Sun unveils itself, Ask That God promises to be more than just an album; it’s a sonic pilgrimage inviting listeners to explore new realms of consciousness and creativity.
