Kaskade announces new AI-inspired songwriting competition

Kaskade has been a pioneer of the electronic music landscape for decades. He is now continuing to push the boundaries further by revealing a brand new, artificial intelligence-inspired songwriting competition.

The rise of Artificial Intelligence, or AI, has sent shockwaves throughout the music industry. The access to tools that can quickly replicate vocal styles or even craft entire productions has shifted the landscape and left many questioning what the future of music and artists will be. Some artists are looking to lean into this new technology and find ways to incorporate it into their works and actions. Kaskade is now the latest to try to find ways to make AI beneficial for himself and his followers.

In a newly revealed contest, Kaskade will be choosing one lucky producer to share a release with while also providing them the opportunity to join him on stage at an upcoming performance. Partnering with Soundful, interested parties will be able to download stems from the site and upload their own mix of the track by August 12th. While there is only one grand prize winner, a second-place winner will also receive a release via Kaskade’s Arkade imprint and a $500 cash prize.
