Silesia Beats 2024: A first edition for the history books

Writing their name in the history books of electronic music, Silesia Beats hosted their very first edition in a truly spectacular manner, with each featured act bringing the heat on each of the three different stages. A shared celebration of electronic music, Silesia Beats have exclusively announced that the event will be returning in 2025, with further information to be found only at We Rave You.

Bringing the absolute heat with their very first edition this past May, Silesia Beats Music Festival has written its name in the electronic music history books, with the event uniting people from all around the world in a true celebration of the dance scene and everything that our community entails, always in terms of no differences, no divisions, only pure togetherness and love towards electronic music. Taking place at the PreZero Arena in the City of Gliwice in Poland, Silesia Beats provided each and every attendee with an experience of a lifetime, whilst the three different stages, saw some of the biggest, as well as up and coming names in the dance scene, deliver live performances that were quite frankly out of this world.

Headlining the event, and of course taking over the Mainstage, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Don Diablo ensured nothing less than the most electrifying of vibes, and despite Like Mike’s absence due to personal reasons, his brother Dimitri Vegas played an extended set, further showcasing the endless capabilities of this legendary duo. Boasting two more stages, the Club Stage and Techno Stage, as well as a TechnoBus that saw Dimitri Vegas also performing there, everyone in attendance were in for a treat throughout the whole 10 hours of this immersive event, and in turn, the organisation and management showcased their adherence towards any challenges faced along the way, and in doing so, Silesia Beats delivered a first edition that quite like it has yet to be seen.

“It was one of the biggest indoor productions of the event in Poland. Although the attendance of participants has yet to exceed 10,000, it has already become the most talked-about event of the year. All participants are clamouring for the next edition! The main stage was the festival’s heart, where each successive artist swept the audience to dance with their unique show. It was time for the first of the two headliners as midnight approached. Don Diablo’s set was a reference to his previous work, which was received with sentiment by the fans, especially since it was his first performance in Poland in five years. Despite Like Mike’s absence, Dimitri Vegas rose to the occasion, extending his set to 90 minutes. The artist was fearless in reaching for tracks that hinted at hard techno. Developed and organised by none other than the PMG Group, Silesia Beats came to life following the Pepsi Silesia Beats project that began during the COVID pandemic, a three edition live streaming event that allowed festival goers to witness their favourite acts through the comfort of their homes, as those unprecedented times had put a hold on the world and everything we once knew as “normal.” Fast-forward to now, Silesia Beats hosted its very first edition with attendees, making this debut event even more special and unique for each and every person involved in it production, the acts that took over its stage, the country of Poland as a whole, and of course each and every festival-goer who had the opportunity of witnessing history made right before their eyes.

“There are not the most difficult things that cannot be solved; there are only those that take a little more time. As far as time is concerned – we had very little of it, as I practically had to organise and produce the event in 3 months. I also had only three months to promote it, so I’m happy with the trust Silesia Beats guests placed in me, as we sold almost 1,000 tickets in the first hour. The festival market was not accessible, so it was a big challenge. It is worth mentioning that it was the 18th birthday of my agency, PMG Group. It is very successful. A truly remarkable event, Silesia Beats further illustrated the unity that exists within the electronic dance community, and with a project that first began during a global pandemic, PMG Group have brought their concept to life in a manner that we can only admire and show endless respect too.
